Design Workshop is committed to creating special places that meet today's needs and that are sustainable environments for all time. The proprietary DW Legacy Design® process seeks to imbue every project with a balance between environmental sensitivity, community connection, artistic beauty and economic viability that demonstrates measureable results.
Design Workshop continues to provide a comprehensive set of services for Cadence, including: land-use planning and approvals; zoning strategy and approvals; landscape architecture; urban design; 3D visualization; signage and way finding; and website design. Design Workshop worked closely with The LandWell Company to plan and design the Cadence community. The resulting design maximizes density around commercial centers, removes walls from all community roads, connects neighborhoods with walkable streets, trails and linear parks, provides mass-transit options and connects the community to downtown Henderson. The plan narrows the width of roads to make neighborhoods more walkable and encourage pedestrian connectivity between neighborhoods.
